Log Hollow 木刻版畫

I hung this above my sofa and the black ink contrast really pops against the white wall, just like the forest scenes we see on hikes. The paper has a nice weight to it, not flimsy at all.

I framed this in our living room and the woodcut texture catches the light beautifully, exactly capturing the layered look of Appalachian forests. The print arrived carefully rolled and the black ink is crisp against the warm paper.

The paper has a nice heavy feel and the ink settled into the grain just like a real woodblock should. Hung it above my reading chair and the Appalachian ridge line makes me feel like I'm back in those woods.
