A practical comparison of the Magnolia Bloom and Wildflowers stickers, covering finish, durability, and where each floral design works best.
Quick answer
Choose the Magnolia Bloom Sticker if you want a single large bloom with a glossy, laminated finish that resists scratching and fading. Choose the Wildflowers Sticker if you prefer a matte die-cut design that is dishwasher safe and works as a loose, un-packaged accent.
Finish and surface feel
The Magnolia Bloom Sticker has a protective laminate coating, which gives it a slight sheen and makes it resistant to scratching, tearing, and water. That smooth surface wipes clean easily but can show fingerprints on dark backgrounds. The Wildflowers Sticker has a matte finish, so it absorbs light rather than reflecting it and tends to hide smudges better on high-touch items like water bottles.
Durability where it counts
Both stickers are weatherproof, but the Wildflowers Sticker is also listed as dishwasher safe, which matters if you plan to put it on a tumbler or travel mug that goes through a dishwasher cycle. The Magnolia Bloom Sticker is described as withstanding rain, snow, and sunlight, making it a solid choice for outdoor gear or a car window where dishwashing is not a factor.
Design format and application
The Magnolia Bloom Sticker is a 3-inch square with a permanent adhesive, so placement is fairly forgiving but not easily repositioned once pressed down. The Wildflowers Sticker is a 3-inch die-cut sticker sold loose without individual packaging, which means the outline follows the flower shapes rather than a square border. That die-cut edge can look more organic on a laptop lid or journal cover, but it also leaves less room for error when aligning the sticker.
Trade-offs to weigh before you choose
- Glossy protection vs. matte subtlety: The Magnolia Bloom Sticker's laminate gives it a glossier look and extra resistance to scratching and fading. The Wildflowers Sticker's matte finish is less reflective and blends more naturally on textured surfaces, but it may show wear differently over time. If you dislike glossy surfaces, the matte Wildflowers is the safer pick.
- Dishwasher safe vs. weatherproof: Only the Wildflowers Sticker is explicitly listed as dishwasher safe. The Magnolia Bloom Sticker is weatherproof against rain, snow, and sunlight but is not described as dishwasher safe, so hand-wash any item you apply it to. For a dishwasher-bound bottle, choose Wildflowers; for outdoor gear, either works.
- Square border vs. die-cut outline: The Magnolia Bloom Sticker is a 3-inch square, which gives you a clean, contained shape. The Wildflowers Sticker is die-cut, so its edges follow the flower shapes, which can look more organic but leaves less margin for placement errors. Pick the square Magnolia if you want a tidy, predictable outline.
